I live on a rambling farm in St Ives with my husband Chris and my beautiful twin daughters who are now making their own way in this world. I have a wonderful stepdaughter and two fantastic grandchildren who are the light of our lives.
My elderly mother has Alzheimers and I love to spend time with her in the moments we have together still.
My friends are very important to me and I love to spend time with them.
I’ve spent most of my life in the music business as a singer and been involved with music festivals and many public events. I love working with people from all walks of life. I’m funny, sociable and empathic. I love people!
Some years ago I gained my diploma in counselling and worked with many bereaved clients where my interest in helping others through difficult times really developed. During lockdown sadly many of our friends died and over the past 10 years I have attended so many funerals.
I have sometimes felt the ceremonies seemed staged or unnatural and I wanted to train to become a celebrant who could offer a more natural, handmade, personal touch, ensuring that loved ones could celebrate the people dearest to them, sharing their stories and memories with their friends and families.
We are all unique and all have our own likes and dislikes. If you choose me to be your celebrant I will help you to design your ceremony exactly how you want it to be.

I have been working with people since I was sixteen and got my first job in Harrods which I kept all the way through my GCSE, 'A' Level and Degree (BSC Psychology) years. I then went in to training and have been a trainer my whole life adult working life, and was always being asked to speak at funerals as a result of having a trained voice and when my father passed away, I delivered his eulogy and decided that this was the time to move into this amazingly rewarding profession.
I am a now fully qualified, fully insured, independent celebrant. I trained with the Academy of Modern Celebrants, and work under the title 'The Bow Tie Celebrant', matching my bow tie to your celebration - reflecting an aspect of a personality and have quite the collection now!
I don't do wedding or naming ceremonies, I chose exclusively to work with funerals and focus my whole energy into working with you to create the perfect service, the perfect celebration of life. I am passionate about telling someone's story, and telling it well.
"I can't say enough about the outstanding service I received from your company. Their team went above and beyond to meet our needs and exceeded our expectations."
